Corpus Christi Rta Station
Project Description
A newly renovated 3-story LEED-certified building serves as Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority’s (CCRTA) new Staples Street Center and Station.
The development provides a multi-modal facility to support the adjacent Staples Street Transit station which was also redeveloped as part of the project. Offices for the RTA Administrative Staff and Customer Service Center occupy the building as well as many other local governmental entities.
Kline provided structural engineering services to design the post-tensioned (PT) cast-in-place (CIP) transfer station roof with total area of approximately 10,700 sq.ft., and concrete columns supporting the roof.
